FAQ
- What does the free tier include?
- Your first backup job can transfer up to 2 GB at no charge — no card required. Connect both cloud accounts, run a dry-run, and start copying. Each Google Drive and OneDrive account can only be linked once across DriveBridge; creating multiple sign-ins to reuse the free tier is not allowed and results in account closure.
- Do you store my files?
- No. Files stream through our server during copy and are not kept on disk. Only job metadata and logs are stored.
- What is a dry-run?
- Dry-run scans your source folder via the cloud API and reports file count, total size, and sample paths — without copying anything.
- Can DriveBridge delete files on my destination?
- Never. Backup is one-way. Conflicting names get a timestamped duplicate suffix — never a silent overwrite.
- Which directions are supported?
- Google Drive → OneDrive and OneDrive → Google Drive. Connect both accounts once.
- How does duplicate detection work?
- We compare checksums and metadata when available. Same name but different content gets a DriveBridge backup suffix.
- How do payments work?
- Checkout is handled by Polar (Merchant of Record). Passes last 30 days; subscriptions renew until you cancel in the customer portal.
